Very slippery, lots of sea urchin, and very easy to cut your feet. And if you slip and fall, you cut a lot more than your feet. I’ve been surfing here for over 40 years and I still bleed once in a while. This is called “The Rockdance!”
These beautiful seats have lasted me 13 wonderful years of service. Now it’s time to get a little more comfortable so the new ones are coming soon.
It took a while to get the old ones off but now it’s ready for the new ones. I can’t wait!
At my age and because of the time I spend in the sun, I’m supposed to get a skin cancer check every year. It’s been 3 years so I was a bit nervous. But being nervous in a doctors office like this is hard when you’re looking at that beautiful blue barrel. Skin cancer is the last thing on my mind because all I’m thinking about is getting barreled!
Some photos from last month taken by Mighty Mouse. This is how you tickle a tako out of its house.
Once you get it out, it will automatically shoot its ink all over you.
And it will try to crawl up your arm and wrap their tentacles around your face.
You have to keep calm and secure your catch. Then take it home and get ready for the takoyaki party!
