experts in japan are predicting a huge powerful earthquake within the next 4 years. it’s expected to hit tokyo with a 70% chance. can you believe tokyo has 13 million people living there? that’s crazy! earthquake experts are also expecting a huge earthquake in the mentawai’s in the next year. these are 2 places i love and these are 2 places i will continue to go. i just hope the experts are wrong!

as for the waves, surfed bowls this morning with kazubo-san and kazuma. waves were super fun and clean all day. no hassling, no crowds, and only happy faces. the endless summer continues here in hawaii. big north/west swell tomorrow, then bigger one on saturday with perfect conditions. the weather feels like hawaii and everybody’s loving it!
