Instead of surfing today, we chose to explore. I drive past this spot a lot but never have thought about diving there. Today was one of those days we gamble. We couldn’t use the boat so we used our feet and walked a mile out to sea.
We were so lucky to find octopus! There were some really big ones. Big and aggressive. I was watching Mighty Mouse getting this one out of the hole.
Then it attacked her. I was watching, filming, and laughing. It was funny because this happens to everyone. Once the octopus has its tentacles attached to you, you won’t be able to pull it off. It’s so scary and freaky getting attacked like this. Poor Mighty Mouse.
Now we can have another takoyaki party!
Found some other treasure while swimming around. It was an absolutely beautiful day in the ocean. Calm, off shore, clean water, and warm. More South/West winds this week so you have to hunt for waves, or hunt for food.
