good morning. 6:30am and seems like the winds backed off a little. the north shore is looking cleaner that it’s been. super north swell so lani’s is probably good. ummm, might have to go get wet. town is kind of small but because the wind is more out of the east, light house might be the call. see you in the water…
there’s this little japanese bento take-out and restaurant hidden in kapahulu. when ever i feel like eating a real japanese bento, i go straight there. i kind of didn’t want to tell too many people about it because it might get crowded and i’m going to have to wait. just like how i use to tell everybody about imari bento and then i ended up waiting 45 minutes for my lunch. and when i was waiting, i see my friends getting their bento before me. that sucked…. especially because i’m always hungry… anyway, this place is really good. so good that you should go and try it. but if you see me in line, let me go first ok…
i usually eat the garlic fried chicken plate. but there is a huge selection of japanese bentos. the saba is pretty good too. and they use good japanese rice… ummmm..
so here’s my lunch i ate yesterday. garlic chicken with two side choices. i chose the potato salad and miso eggplant. and it also comes with miso soup. all for $7…. good deal. here’s the address: 611 kapahulu ave. right next to zippy’s. it’s open 7 days a week fro 8am – 6pm. phone number is 735-3530. and remember, if you see me there, let me order my food first… thanks….
and last, i love playing pool. it’s a stress reliever because hitting the ball hard and seeing it flying in the hole feels pretty good. i’m not that good at it but if you play me for drinks, i try really hard to win. and if i’m losing, i’ll put my ball in the hole when your not looking. haha.. try me.[:?????????:]
