Round 1: I paddled out early in the morning and the waves were shoulder high. All of a sudden, it started getting bigger and bigger. The new swell has arrived!
The crazy thing about this morning was there was hardly anyone out. Just a few locals taking turns and today was ended up being the best waves of the year with the least surfers of the year. You can’t beat that.
The new swell was pushing over the existing swell so the waves were very powerful. Jarrod getting ready to pull into the barrel.

Even the inside was really good. So many waves today so everyone got their fair share.
Barak caught so many good waves. He paddled out and said “this is the best summer EVER!” Nobody can disagree to that. This IS the best summer EVER!
