i’ve been traveling around japan for years now and i see penis and vaginas around from time to time. no, not the real ones, the fake ones made out of wood, plastic, or candy. i thought it was weird for such a conservative country to have these sexual things around. but after 21 years, i finally found out why!!!
japan has the lowest birth rate in the world. people are getting older and there are less newborns coming into the world. the japanese government pays $280/child to the family until they reach junior high school. if you have four kids, that’s a lot of money. if that system was implemented in hawaii, there would be babies running around everywhere.
this is the candy i told you about. i seen these at festivals before and thought it was kind of weird to have kids and adults sucking on this.
i would be bummed if this was my mom or grandma. haha. the next time i see a festival like this, i’m joining in on all the fun. traveling around the world experiencing all the different cultures is what makes my life interesting. you just don’t know what you’ll see next????
