here is a classic example why i’m very cautious about twitter. in these days, it’s pretty easy to hack into somebody’s account and do stupid things. anything in cyberspace is hackable and if you don’t believe me, you can ask my computer geek friend here in hawaii and he’ll turn your nice website into a free XXX porn site in 30 seconds. haha. i don’t know how twitter works and use it just to update people about my blog. the other day, i’ve been getting strange messages from people saying i sent them a message. the message reads:
Hey, so some real nasty things are being said about you here lad.im/1cb i cant believe what was said..
if you clicked on that link, it will ask you for your username and password. if you happened to type in that information, your account and password is in the hands of the dirty people. who knows what they can do with your account. so for those of you who really think i sent that message, i had nothing to do with it. and if you were worried about what was being said about you, welcome to cyber world. haha.
the japanese government is trying to get foreign bloggers to do PR by inviting them to the earthquake/tsunami hit areas to write compassionately about the progress. if you read my blog, i’ve never been asked by anyone, or felt pressured by anybody to write compassionately about the progress. i’ve seen the progress, i’ve seen the beauty over and over. tohoku might have been damaged by the tsunami, but the spirit, the nature, and the people shine on. when we do our missions, we are not just volunteer helpers, we are tourist too. we take in the beauty of tohoku, its people, and its progress. here is daisuke taking a photo on the top of one of the most beautiful places i’ve ever been in my life.
i will never forget the sunset this evening on mission 3. it took all of our breaths away. if you haven’t visited tohoku yet, don’t miss your chance to see one of the most beautiful places in the world, and meet some of the most nicest people on earth. things are moving forward and help be a part of it! i’ll be going back there a few times this year and hope to see you there. aloha!
