good morning. we arrived by ferry in wakayama at 6 in the evening and got treated to a feast at kimura-san’s house. oh my gosh!!! an awesome dinner with awesome people….
yuke-san stopped by. yuke-san is a traditional buddha artist that has been doing paintings for the past 30 years. he opened up his bag, got out his paintbrushes, and started painting for everybody. it was pretty amazing… first was seth’s turn…
this is culture. this is talent…. awesome job….
this is something that will last a lifetime. we were so lucky to have met yuke-san….
he made one for my sister tammy, tony, and myself. i love mine so much that i’m going to get a frame for it when i get back to hawaii… thank you so much yuke-san…
