My Biggest Omilu….

270

good morning. 7am and the waves are looking fun today. chest/shoulder high and really clean at diamond head. it’s probably really crowded but so is everywhere else. i’m looking at ala moana park now and i see 80 guys out. get it before the onshore seabreeze winds come. and if you just feel like relaxing, go out the the north shore and take a mask and snorkel. it’s freaking beautiful out there…. what ever you choose to do, have a nice day….

when ever i catch a big fish, i call my friend tat’s. he comes over to pick up the fish and drops of nice fillets the next day. i weighted this omilu i caught yesterday. it weighted 21lbs. these don’t get too much bigger than this.
i dove down about 25′ to check this nice big cave. i looked inside and it was empty. then i felt something big coming from behind me. i thought it was a shark but it ended up being 2 big omilu’s. it swam right over my shoulder into the cave. i didn’t have a nice kill shot so i waited and waited. the omilu’s swam deep in the cave and disappeared. i was running out of breath and thought that if i go up, the fish will see me and run away. i mean, swim away. so i stayed down and looked up to see how deep i was. then when i looked back into the hole, the 2 omilu’s ran out right in front of me. i mean swam out. i had to turn my gun 180 degrees and by then, the fish seen me. they started to swim away fast so i just took a blind shot. i hit it and it went screaming. let my gun go? no way. i held on for my life, called kyle, then kyle dove down and gave it the kill shot. klye said that a big eel was attacking it. so if it wasn’t for him, my fish would only weight 11lbs. teamwork is the key!! thanks kyle….

$77/per spear. the omilu did this so now i have to buy another one. you know what i’m going to do? i’m going to eat every single piece of sashimi and get my moneys worth. bad fishy. can somebody please donate a shaft to me?? haha…

and last, while we’re enjoying our lives over here in paradise, there’s still a war going on in iraq. i’m feeling kind of guilty…. i hope the war ends soon so our kids can come back home….
