apple’s iPhone was japan’s No. 1 smartphone in 2011. they sold 7.25M phones, which is 30% of the market. i bet anyone that they will have 50% market share by 2013. it’s just too good!

when i first went to japan, i couldn’t believe how expensive the melons were. i seen some for $500 and nobody here in hawaii would believe me. well, they just sold a pair of hokkaido melons for 1 million yen, or $12,000 USD at the first auction of this years harvest season. can i have a bite?

you want to retire on the pacific? well, panama is the place to go. at $1,200 or 100,000 yen a month, you can live a comfortable lifestyle in the emerging country’s Gold Coast in Las Tablas. they have international standard medical facilities, affordable health insurance, and the US dollar is the currency there. i think i might have to go check this place out. i’ve always wanted to go to panama and check out the panama canal. now i have another reason. retire there? no, just interested in this next major city. 30 years ago, you could live a comfortable lifestyle in hawaii for $1,200/month. but now? no way! rent cost more than that.
