as you all know, i fell into a different world. i still think somebody is playing a game on me, but i’ll go with the flow and just enjoy it. why? because i’m learning a lot about the luxury world and why people keep coming back. service is everything. i figured it out when i was in the maldives. i just sit back and watch people working so hard. i sit back and have absolutely nothing to worry about. i sit back and enjoy the time. some of the staff at these hotels keep moving and keep working. it’s really inspiring to me and when it’s my time to work, i want to do the same. no matter what job i’m doing, i want to give it 100% and provide the best service in the world. a great learning experience for me.

i’m so ready to jump in the ocean. i’m so ready to free dive. i’m so ready to go back into the world i love best. i dove a lot of countries around the world, but indonesia is my favorite. you can spear little snappers, to big huge tunas. you just never know what will come your way. it’s nature at its best.
not just surfing and diving, culture is amazing here in indonesia. take this chicken fight for example. in hawaii, everybody here would get arrested if the police came. but in bali, this is part of the weekend culture. real chicken fighting!
let’s all not forget, mentawai was hit by a big tsunami in 2010. we were here right before it happened. some villages got completely wiped out and lots of people died. i collected some donations shortly after and promised to hand deliver supplies. then after 3/11, we cancelled our trip last year. the money has been sitting on my desk right in front of me ever since. constantly reminding me of what i promised to do. on this trip, we’ve already bought supplies for the kids in these villages and will be hand delivering it. it’s never too late! want to thank the people who donated to this project. you all have great hearts! We Are One!
