i bet you were waiting for photos from last nights bachelor party? well, there is a golden rule for men going to bachelor parties. NO PHOTOS! this is the only peek you will get. my friend who’s getting married is a party animal. i still can’t believe he’s getting married. and i won’t believe it until the wedding is done. until then, we shall see.
picked up Yukiko-san this morning for a full day of fun! started off with a 2.5 hour session at bowls. after her first wave, she told me that was the longest wave she rode in her 10 year bodyboarding experience. then she caught 15 more so i guess today she caught the longest 15 waves in her life. super cool to see her smiling paddling back out after every wave. saiko means “awesome.”
then she wanted to eat noodles. so i took her to the best korean reimen. this spicy noodle bowl cost $10.99 and is worth every spicy bite.
Yu Chun is the place, and spicy noodle bowl is my recommendation.
then we drove over to kailua. i think kailua is the new waikiki. why? because there were more cars, more traffic, and more people than waikiki. crazy, but beautiful!
then took a peek at heaven’s beach. islands, white sand, emerald water, and bikini’s. what more could you ask for?
then back to town for round 2! there was a super high tide this afternoon so i took her to my secret spot that breaks good on a high tide. where? it’s called “i donno.”
then we had time to kill so we ate waiola shave ice with azuki beans and ice cream. then took a drive up to tantalus for the perfect view. hey Yukiko-san, thank you for the wonderful day. beach, nature, food, and fun! hope you enjoyed today and hope you will enjoy your last day in hawaii tomorrow. when you get back to japan, please tell everybody at Olas Surf Shop in Kyoto i said “aloha!”
