yesterday was such a long day but went by so fast. i got to the hotel at 1:30pm and left at 2am. 12 1/2 hours of celebration! patrick and i were the two darkest people out of the 250 that attended. black and white.
meet our photographers. two funny guys. i wanted all their camera equipment. they had all the best. maybe someday.
the entertainment was amazing last night. these 3 musicians played songs like “Just like Heaven” from the Cure, and “Don’t Stop Believing” by Journey. it was pretty cool!
i took a peak inside while they were preparing for the amazing night. 1000 roses, 1200 other flowers, and probably 10000 rose pedals. if you like flowers, you would have been in heaven last night.
john went on stage and like usual, embarrassed us all. he brought up our trip to Niijima 20 years ago. something i don’t want to talk about. haha.
the girls were all beautiful! i couldn’t believe kristie’s wedding dress! OMG! must have cost more than my house.
i haven’t eaten suckling pig this tender. i wish i could have brought home leftovers.
i’ve been to a lot of weddings and i have to say that this one topped everyone by far. it was extravagant! it was luxury! it was something we will all remember for the rest of our lives.
it was so good to see my best friends. i know russ for 30 years, robb for 30 years, carter for 30 years, and john for 22 years. we all go our separate ways in life but always find our way back together. this is what friendship is all about. and these guys are my life.
after 5 corona’s, i switched to jack and pepsi. pepsi? yes, no coke so i just drank what they had. now i’m paying for it. my head hurts!!!
want to congratulate john and kristie. didn’t have time to thank them last night so want to thank them now. you guys both are special to me and i was honored to be a part of your special wedding. thanks for the wonderful suit, and thank you for all the great memories. your new life has just begun and let’s keep the party going on forever. and to all my friends i seen last night. my life couldn’t get any better if you weren’t in it. thanks for always being there for me. and last, can somebody tell me how i got home? i woke up and looked at my suit scattered on the ground and 2 jack in the box taco wrappers on the table. haha.
