good morning. first of all, how was that earthquake the other day here in shizuoka? shit, i was freaking out!!! it was by far the biggest earthquake i’ve ever felt and i thought the whole earth was going to crack in half. it’s the scariest and the most helpless feeling ever. i didn’t know what to do. i hope there aren’t any more any time soon….[:??????:]
toda-san slept through the whole earthquake….
i’ve been staying in shizuoka for the past few days. toda-san and takami-san have been very kind and have been taking care of me. i went to their shop a few times and as soon as i walk in the store, i feel like i’m back in hawaii. everything is about hawaii and it’s such a good atmosphere. so the next time i’m feeling home sick again, i’m going to the hula hawaii store in shizuoka….
**there have been so many postive things that happened since we started go-naminori.com. opportunities for myself, and friends popping up all the time. just wanted to show you a couple i got yesterday…

Claudio from Brazil.
and last, i was sitting on the beach of a secret point break 3 days ago. i was talking to some local friends while watching the waves. it was cloudy and the waves were breaking far out at sea so i didn’t want to shoot. then my sponsor paddles out so i’d figure to take a few photos of him, even thought it would be all throwaways. as he catches one of the best waves of the day, the sun pops out. it couldn’t have been better timing. this ones a keeper. yasumori tokura (dove wetsuits owner) @ secret spot somewhere in japan….
