good morning. the weather was really nice in the morning yesterday so toda-san and takami-san asked me if i wanted to go down the street to take a photo of mt. fuji. i was pretty much in my pajamas but i grabbed my camera and went. that was 9am. we ended up driving around mt. fuji, and even up to the 5th station again. after eating good food and ice cream, we finally got home at 4pm. then i had a chance to finally brush my teeth…
yesterday was the clearest day of the summer!!! you could see mt. fuji from miles and miles away. it was so awesome that we drove for 7 hours taking photos from different angles. your not going to believe this but i took this photo from the restaurant while i was drinking my orange juice. i took it through the window and it still looks good….
then they took me to this river where kids were fishing and catching small salmon like fish. the water was so clean and cold. and the air was as fresh as it gets. pure nature…
i had 2 cameras getting every angle and just from yesterday, i could probably make a book. it doesn’t get better than it was yesterday. i want to thank toda-san and takami-san for being so kind to me. taking care of me when i hurt my shoulder from surfing, and taking care of me when my legs were in pain from hiking. and if they ever make a fuji guide tour, i’m signing up….
toda-san makes me laugh. i never get bored hanging out with him… thanks again guys. my suitcase is packed and i’m making my way towards shikoku. i can’t wait to surf!!!
