i left wakayama yesterday at 1:40 pm. after a 2 hour ferry ride, and a 2 1/2 hour drive, i finally got to the surf spot i will keep a secret for now. it felt so good to be back in the water after all this time. i wanted to say sorry to the japanese girl that came up to me in the parking lot. i just ran past her while we were talking. i didn’t mean to be rude or anything, it’s just that i wanted to surf so bad. thanks for checking my blog and i know you understand that i’m a fish that needed to get back in the ocean. see you next time out there and one more thing, your english was really good. ganbatte ne!!
hey, did you guys see my new car yet? i’ll send you a photo of it later. all i know is that it handles really well going 200 kilometers around turns. the navigator told me that i was going to arrive here at 7:45 pm. but i got here at 6 pm, just in time for an evening session. haha.. just joking kimura-san…. don’t worry, i was driving slowly….[:?????????:]
i just heard the news of kelia winning the contest yesterday. i’m so happy!!! she won the longboard pro division and took out hawaii’s best!!! and also earned $2000. here’s a message to kelia from me.
kelia, stick to longboarding. win the world title first. then you can short board for the rest of your life. world titles aren’t easy to come by and it’s your time. if you focused on longboarding, i know you can do it. congratulations on your win and keep it flowing. and keep updating your blog too. i’m tired of everybody coming up to me in japan and saying “why doesn’t kelia update her blog more often?”. last, put that $2000 in the bank and your dream trip to japan will come true. see you soon. uncle kirby…
