went to this place called Gon to eat some oishi soba. super clean, nice, and tasty okinawan soba.
this is the mixed large size. a big meal for a hungry guy like me.
i’ve at soba everyday for lunch since i got here and will till i leave. sometimes with friends, sometimes with strangers, and sometimes by myself. but it’s much more enjoyable with friends.
hideyoshi tanaka won the JPSA championship title a few times here in japan. a really good surfer from chiba but the thing that impresses me the most is how humble and courteous he is. well mannered and a great role model champion surfer. and maybe future photographer?
the best way to check out okinawa is on a harley. you see things you normally won’t see. and the cool thing is you can speed between cars and ride on the side. just like how we ride mopeds back in hawaii. it’s kind of scary and i almost crashed 2x already. thanks takahashi-san for letting me ride your big toy.
going surfing. high tide is coming soon. the super typhoon is near. and i have to make a move very fast because i don’t know if i can handle another okinawa night life. i need to detox my body from all the orion beers, soba, and nomikata.
