wow, glad to be back home. i boarded the flight from okinawa, closed my eyes before take off, and woke up when we landed. then spent 5 long hours at narita waiting for my connecting flight. boarded the flight, and woke up in hawaii. gosh, i must have been tired. but i’m glad to be back home. my bed, my car, and my life. work starts tomorrow and i can’t wait!

beware before you board a cheap flight on air asia. just to let you know, the seats are small, hardly recline, no leg room, and crowded. i flew to okinawa and it wasn’t comfortable at all. i chose to fly ANA on the way back and it was much better. double the price, but triple the comfort. it’s up to you what you choose but for me, the airplane is the only place i can relax. and relax i did and now i feel great!

remember i told you about the movers that moved a sofa into my friends condo? well, the broke the window. they denied doing it. and now it cost $4,500 to replace. the window finally came in from the only place in the world that makes it. now i’m wondering how they are going to get this in the elevator? we shall find out really soon.

i pretty much flew through 2 typhoons coming back to hawaii. the ride was pretty crazy! before i use to freak out when the airplane goes through turbulence but now, i just close my eyes and prepare for death. if we crash, we crash. there is nothing i could do so why panic.

i come home, check the waves, and guess what? south swell! the waves were so good but i was just too tired. i got my boards in the car, it’s washed, and i’m ready to surf all day tomorrow. the waves are supposed to come up and i can’t wait.

we were playing around in okinawa with my new 50mm lens taking photos of each other. i jumped from the seawall and almost broke my knee. haha. when megu-chan saw this photo, she asked me “how old are you?” haha. for me, age is just a number. i feel young, fresh, healthy, and energetic. and when i turn 90 years old, i’ll probably be doing the same thing jumping off walls. the only thing different is i will probably break my knees. photo by judy.
