good morning. wow, what a great surfing day! the waves on the south shore were perfect! it was coming up all day long and by the afternoon, i saw perfect 4′ sets peeling across like it was G-Land or something. i had fun surfing this morning with the okinawan boys, and this afternoon with the cutest kid i’ve ever met. a lot of hours spent in the water but all good fun!
the coolest group from okinawa. Daisuke-san, Yuki-san, Seijin-san, and Kaoru-san. we surfed, we caught waves, and we ate asai bowl after. healthy day for the body! thanks boys for the fun and entertainment. good surfing and hope you enjoy your last 2 days here in hawaii.
it’s these guys first time here. so after we surf, i ask them where they want to go. they said “lanikai beach!” i looked at them and said “hey guys, you guys are from okinawa man. lanikai beach is just another ordinary beach to you. okinawa is loaded with much more beautiful beaches than lanikai. if i take you there, you won’t be impressed at all.” why go to a beach that is full of tourists on the weekend? i’d rather be in okinawa enjoying a beach all to myself. anyway, we ended up driving around and checking out deeper parts of hawaii. had some fun laughs along the way. great guys!
apple just released news about their new iPad mini. they will release it on october 23, 2012. why? because other companies like google and amazon came out with mini tablets. and microsoft’s planning to release their new “surfact” tablet on Oct. 26. what timing yeah? apple is the giant killer. you try to compete with apple, they will squash you like a tomato. these other companies spend billions designing products to compete with apple and after they spend all their time and money, apple comes out with something better. the best marketing genius company in the world. and that’s why apples stocks went up $1.61 today to close at $629.71 per share. yes, PER SHARE!!! i can’t wait to get my mini iPad. haha.
hey Satoko, nice photos from the fireworks show in japan last night. shucks, i wish i were there! some beers and snacks under the hugest fireworks show. i’m jealous. cheers!
