2 months ago i was at kaneohe jeep looking at cars. this young salesman came out to greet me. his name was Jai and he was only 18 years old. just started that month so he trying to sell a car to me was pretty funny. i mean, i’m double this guys age and have 100x more experience in sales than him so i was listening to his sales pitch. he was trying so hard to get me to buy a car but i didn’t. when i left the car lot, i drove away thinking of how this kid reminded me of myself when i was young. i guess we all have to start somewhere right?
fast forward to 2 days ago. my friend wanted me to buy a jeep for him so guess who i went to see? yes, Jai. i called the kid, told him i’m coming down and wanted him to make the sale. we met in the morning, talked story, then bought the car. buying a car in hawaii is much different than japan. it’s very tricky and i’ll explain how later. luckily i’ve bought many cars for friends before so i know how the system works. if you go down by yourself, you might get a good deal. but if you go down with me, you will guarantee get a steal. haha.
this is Jai Troche from windward jeep. why do i like him? because he’s pure. i could feel his pure heart, i could see him trying so hard, and i seen part of the old me in him. that makes me want to help this kid out more and more. he just turned 19 yesterday, has a wife, a kid, and another kid on the way. a hard working young man that gave up Martial Arts fighting to become a salesman to support his family. he has a 25 win and 4 lost record as a fighter. hopefully a undefeated record as a salesman. i respect this kid. if you buy a new dodge, chrysler, or jeep, or any used car, call Jai at 808-383-5035. and tell him i said hi.
people around me have been traveling recently. toda-san and takami-san were in thailand hanging out with matsu. check out this photo they sent me. gosh, i really wish i was there too. i love thailand. the temples, the massages, the food, and the ladyboy’s. haha. just joking.
now this is somewhere i don’t want to go to. crazy yeah?
and last, i took Takeda-san and his wife to my secret spot in hawaii. i told them to keep it a secret. then he went back to japan and seen these guys expose it on japanese tv!!! OMG!!! shock! hey Takeda-san, don’t worry, this place won’t get crowded. why? because when a japanese tourist parks his car outside in that neighborhood, somebody will steal it for sure. haha. and by the way, who are these guys on this TV? and who told them about this place?
