good evening. the waves came up today on the south shore. some 4′ sets and barreling! i was so stoked to be in the water. surfed the morning with Yoshida-san, and Tae-san in the afternoon. two determined surfers that love the sport. what an awesome day!
met with Tiare yesterday for a chat. decided to have her join the Go-Naminori official blogger team for her fashion tips. Tiare is a fashionist, a stylist, a awesome surfer, super positive, and a really sweet person. good to have her along and will keep you posted when we get started. expect more bikini issues coming up as Tiare has all the connections with all the beautiful hawaiian girls!
surfed with Yoshida-san this morning at bowls. gosh, i was really impressed on how good he surfed. he caught so many good long lefts and was ripping on his 7’0. we had a great time and the waves were going off!

OMG! Ikumi Yoshimatsu, 25 years old from Japan won!!!! congratulations Japan! this was the first time a japanese won since the miss international started in 1960. and she beat contestants from 70 other countries! wow, that’s awesome!
