can’t believe journey is coming next month!!! yes, Don’t Stop Believing!!!! i haven’t had a chance to buy tickets but i’m not missing this concert for sure. journey is one of my all time favorite bands from the 80’s and i know every single song they sing word for word. the memories will all come back in december. i better send out the emails to my high school buddies. instead of all going alone, we can all go together. see you there!

when dave yamaya sent me an email yesterday, i had chicken skin when i opened it. how beautiful is this!!!!! mount fuji in fall. hey dave, yes, you are right. i love this mountain. there is just such a deep meaning that goes back to my grandparents. you made my day! great photo and hope all is well with your beautiful family. go-kamogawa!
i went to my friends birthday party. you might know him as “Tat’s” or “Eddie.” to me, this guy is like my brother. i’ve known tat’s for 32 years. we went through so many stages in both of our lives and when we look back, we just laugh. the parties, the discos, the drinks, and the street fights. we always tell ourselves that it’s a miracle that we are both still alive and not in jail. haha. i was so happy to see him so genki after all these years. and i know surfing has a lot to do with it. congratulations tat’s and see you in the water.
then there’s my other old time friend sheldon young. i’ve known his since high school and i just remember him as a guy that says what’s on his mind. and 25 years later, he still says what’s on his mind. if he likes you, he likes you. if he doesn’t like you, he will tell you “i don’t like you.” a full on MMA fighter/trainer that nobody wants to mess with. and if you even try to mess with me, sheldon will put you to sleep. haha. i’m not joking. and if sheldon doesn’t do it, tat’s will. these guys got my back since the old school days and nothing or nobody can break our friendship. good seeing you boys!
and last, i dedicated 30 minutes/day for the next 4 days to decide where and what i will do on my next journey. i still don’t know exactly where but i’m going somewhere very far where i don’t know anybody. i’m looking forward to exploring new countries, making new friends, and having lifetime memories. hope i make it back.
