in the past few years, go-naminori has been hacked a few times. people freak out and send me emails all day long when our site is down. to tell you the truth, i was freaking out the first time it happened. luckily our web designer fixed it soon. the second time we got hacked, not as freaky for me. and yesterday, somebody hacked it again and i was pretty happy. we are in cyber world and things happen. when you have such a popular website, you get hacked. that said, i’m proud to be hacked because people are trying to take this site down. if nobody looked at go-naminori, it wouldn’t be worth getting hacked. but since we get millions of hits, people will do anything to try to take us down. what they are forgetting is that we are not just a website. we are a global network of friends. with or without our site being up, we are still living a positive life through surfing and that can never be hacked. so want to thank all of you out there who gave me the heads up yesterday. and want to thank all you out there that continue to visit us daily. that said, keep on surfing your dream!
oh, also wanted to say hello and thank you to all the wonderful people i meet everyday. at the beach, in the water, at the shopping malls, and pretty much everywhere i go. when people walk up to me and say “hey, i check go-naminori everyday.” that makes me so happy! the other day at diamond head, this guy walked up to me and said “what’s up kirby, how are you doing?” i looked at him and thought “i don’t know this guy?” then he said, “opps, sorry, you don’t know me. i check your blog and know who you are.” it was pretty funny. then last night, a nice japanese couple came up to me during dinner and told me they check go-naminori too. then i think to myself “wow, this is cool! we have people from around the world checking out go-naminori. that was my dream 6 years ago and it came true!” now my dream is to keep on connecting people through the ocean and go-naminori. everyday and every wave! keep on surfing, keep on dreaming, and keep on go-naminori! mahalo!
if anybody in this world has eaten various kinds of food from the streets of third world countries to the finest of the finest, it’s me. i’ve eaten 20 cent lunches on the streets of thailand, indonesia, philippines, and other places. pretty dirty, but pretty good. then i’ve eaten at the worlds most expensive restaurants. yeah, dinner for 4 for $12,000? yes, been there more than a few times. so my tongue has a great sense of taste. i’m finding out where is good, and where is not too good. the other night we went to Nobu in waikiki. here is my opinion. nobu is not a place you can eat all the time. why? because you will have to be a millionaire to be able to eat there often. it’s expensive but the food is great. once in a while, i’ll have to say is a must!
then we went to Ruth Chris steakhouse. this has to be in my top 3 steak houses in the world. top 1 is Kawamura in ginza, top 2 is Ruth Chris, and my top 3 is Yoshinoya. love them all!
this is our surfboard quiver yesterday. we get compliments everyday at the beach about our surfboards. TSSC’s motto is “A MAGIC BOARD WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE.” yes, it has changed many!
KEEP ON HACKING
KEEP ON EATING
KEEP ON SURFING
