good evening. hope all of you in japan are having a happy 2010 so far. i still have a few more hours of 2009 and can’t wait for 2010. see you back later…
i get many emails and photos from friends and go-naminori readers everyday. from now on, i’m going to start posting some of the photos, well, not the private ones. but the ones that i think people would like to see….
this is “On the Beach” in miyazaki. thanks satoshi. see you soon…
thank you aki-san from shikoku. gosh, i can’t wait to surf your spot again someday!!!
hello keiko-san. glad to see you like the wishing bracelet. shaka to you too!!
hey matchi, i need more boards!! get ready to shape when you come to hawaii. haha..
and last, this is called an “Omilu” in hawaii. in proper english, it’s called a trevally. these guys are kind of a trophy fish for fisherman and divers. they usually stay in holes or caves and you have to go looking for them. there is an area we always dive on the east side that has a lot of holes and caves so i try to check them all. going up and down takes a lot on your body but that’s what you have to do. then sometimes, you see them, they see you, and run away. then sometimes you see them, they don’t see you, and swim right up to you. that’s your lucky day!! yesterday, i went down, seen him in another hole far away, i waited and waited, he turned and came to check me out, i looked at his body, aimed for his head, and BAM!! if you want to maximize the sashimi on the platter, don’t hit the body, hit the head. i went diving looking for sashimi and i’m so lucky to bring some home!!!
**by the way, i photoshopped out the logo on my tshirt. why? because i’m not sponsored by that sunglass company anymore so i use it for my pajamas. i go diving in my pajamas because my tshirts usually get bloody and stained. then i have to throw them away. i think akazawa-san would freak out if he seen me in a new SPICE tshirt with fish blood stains all over. i love my SPICE too much to do that….
