**i was thinking about my new years resolution this year thought to myself, gosh, it’s probably the same as last year. so i looked up my 2009 new years blog and read it again. and yes, it’s the same thing and will probably be the same for long time. here it is:
RESOLUTION means “a firm decision to do or not to do something.” i don’t know about japan, but new years resolutions in america is kind of a big thing. when i was younger, i usually never made one because my mind was weak and i broke the resolution within the first week of the new year. it wasn’t until about 4 years ago when i started making new years resolutions. i made them because i used it to give me drive throughout the year. my resolutions weren’t to quit drinking, stop swearing, or anything like that. mine are better. my resolutions were to work hard, surf and dive as much as i can, travel at any opportunity, and live a healthy and happy life. so come december 31st for the past 4 years, i sit down and think about my year. and every time, i have absolutely zero regrets. i surfed some of the best waves in the world, dove at some of the best diving spots in the world, traveled to many countries, and most important, made new friends. and 2009 will be no different. i can’t wait to do it all over again…. by the way, what’s your new years resolution? if you don’t have one, it’s not too late. in fact, it’s never too late….
**just wanted to add this in. 2009 brought many new experiences and many new friends into my life. i can look back and honestly tell you that i exceeded my expectations by far. after all these years of surfing, 2009 had to be the best as far as waves and barrels. it was also my best year in diving, traveling, and everything else i did. in this year of 2010, my resolution is the same, which is to surf, dive, travel, and make new friends. i learned how to do it in 2009 and if i take the same approach, i know i can have a better year. everything is in my hands and i’m going to go big this year. work hard, and play hard.
**last, another thing i want to add in my resolution is to connect more people through go-naminori.com. yeah, i’ve heard a lot of stories of finding lost friends, making new friends, and sharing experiences. some laughs, and some tears. i couldn’t have asked anything more of this website and i will give my 100% in making it better and better….. kotoshi mou yoroshiku onegaishimasu!!!![:?????$B!x(B???:]
