Arrested in Japan….

280

good morning. 6:30 am on this blue sky tuesday. big waves on the north shore but not the greatest conditions. town is almost flat! wait, i just seen a waist high set at bowls. umm… going to look around for a nice wave with nobody around. still really busy but if i don’t jump into the ocean, i’ll go crazy…. jya, have a nice day!!!
i just read an article that the sea shepherd captain of the vessel that crashed into the japanese vessel got arrested and is being held in japan for over a month. captain james bethune had the nerve to board the shonan maru 2 after his ship got rammed. it’s like me getting in my car and trying to crash into the honolulu city bus. then after my car is smashed up, i ask the bus driver for a ride home? that’s crazy!!!
anyway, the captain got arrested and i hope he pays the price. the price of putting lives in danger, and the price for trying to take the law into his own hands. yeah, i don’t agree with many things in this world, but is it ok for me to take action and put lives at danger trying to stop it? the sea shepherd has no right to be doing the things they are doing and if they keep it up, somebody is going to get killed.
the japanese government is going to take a firm stance against the captain and let me tell you something, you don’t want to mess with the japanese government. they don’t need proof and they don’t need anything to keep you in jail and make your life miserable. that’s their law and if you want to screw around with them, you probably deserve it.
i’m not taking any sides to this controversy but if you do something illegal, which the sea shepherd did, you have to face the consequences. it’s going to be interesting on what happens. i’ll keep you posted.
and i also heard that “The Cove” won an academy award? i haven’t seen that movie and have no desire too. i don’t like to watch “one-sided” documentaries. i know i will get sick to my stomach after i watch it. to go undercover in any foreign country without their permission and film only the negative side of their culture is uncalled for. show both sides and i will respect you. show only one side to make a movie? get out of here!!!

**anyway, check out the video taken by the japanese smashing the sea shepherd 2 million dollar vessel. it made me kind of laugh when the japanese kept spraying the vessel even after smashing into it. and who’s fault was that accident? well, if i were to drive my car onto the shinkansen bullet train tracks because i wanted to stop it, is it their fault for the train smashing into me? i don’t think so…. and if a mouse walks into an elephants track and gets stepped on, is it the elephants fault? same thing… if you see something huge coming your way, get the heck out of the way…..

**and read a couple comments left by viewers who watched the video….

The Sea Shepard are just a bunch of terrorists. You can’t just go around sinking ships. They have even attacked coast guard ships sunk several fishing vessels and are banned from Greenpeace, banned from Canada and have warrants in several countries. Oh??? I am not not Japanese by the way so don’t even think of accusing me of that. One of these days they are going to attack the wrong people and they will get their ass blown sky high as serves them right.

these whale warriors??? are idiots! They put human lives at risk to save whales?? I don’t know if these whales are endangered or not, but it doesn’t seem to be of major concern to the international community to protect these whales which leads me to believe they are not as endangered as this show leads on. This is like if the Japanese started attacking ranchers to keep cows from being slaughtered, and you know that fat ass captain of the Sea Shepherd enjoys a good steak. GET A FUCKING REAL JOB!!
