there’s a place called Morikawa in Ginza, Japan. i went there a few times and i have to say that the food is the best in the world, and the service too. i’m pretty sure it’s probably one of most expensive restaurants in the world too but i’m fortunate to have such good friends. ever had a beautiful lady in a kimono pour you dom perigon? well, it was my first.
i can really appreciate food like this because my grandma was a japanese dish collector. she had all the beautiful dishes and served us meals like this. so eating food like this reminds me of my grandma and all her hard work to keep the japanese culture alive in our family.
then as we leave, the master chef comes outside and says goodbye. gosh, i love the japanese culture as it’s first class!
then i come back to hawaii and visit my cheap and good restaurants. all this yakiniku for $44 that can feed 4 people easily. so $11/each is a deal!
i finally got my taxes done! it took hours and days to do it but all the numbers are in. 2012 was a great year!
