good afternoon, i just got back to japan and the weather is perfect. not too cold, and not too warm. i’m feeling pretty dam good. we ate a wonderful breakfast at kimura-san’s house. just about to get on the ferry so i jumped into my porsche and guess what? the battery is dead!! shock!!! now i’ll be driving a big van to shikoku and when seth is surfing, i’ll probably be sleeping in the back. haha.. well, gotta go. see you there at the tssc users contest on sunday, and the surfing school on saturday. have a great evening!!!
my favorite food in bali has to be the suckling pig. the skin is so crunchy and the fat on it melts in your mouth. i wish we had this in hawaii….
when i first came to japan, people called me “kalbi, kabi, kalubie, kalulubi” now they call me “kaabi”. in bali, till this day, they still can’t get my name right. Corbi? haha..
so there i was swimming in the water in bali thinking about my life.
“here i am at a secret spot in bali that i had no idea existed. i’m swimming in the warm water while my 2 nephews and friends are getting barreled out of their minds. i shoot some photos, i swim around, i look around at the awesome view in totally peace. could anybody have a better life than this? could anybody be happier than i? i hope that answer is yes and if it’s not, let me just say that there is so much out there to experience. when i was a kid, my dream was to sit in an office and make a lot of money. now, it’s the total opposite!! i couldn’t work in an office, and i don’t need a lot of money. my life is perfect just as it is”
after i took this photo of myself, a big set came in and seth took off, pulled in with a big smile on his face, and i got the shot. then as he paddled back out, i floated on my back again and even had a bigger smile on my face….
