OMG, how good were the waves today? i scored!!! surfed perfect bowls and got so many good waves. surfed 2 rounds @ 4 hours. i’m so sunburnt and can’t wait till tomorrow.
ever since i almost lost my pinky to my malfunctioning speargun, i’ve been taking care of things. making sure everything is working properly and not corroded. any one of these guns can kill a person with one shot. yeah, it’s a scary thought and if you own one of these, please be very careful. this is my quiver from reef diving to blue water. each one has caught me fish but my favorite gun is the second one from the bottom. it’s a stock picasso basik 100cm with a reel. and the camouflage paint was done by me in my backyard. that gun alone caught me many free fresh dinners for the past 5 years. one of the best investments of my life. how much? i bought it used for $80. score!
i’ve been taking the kids down to the beach on the weekends. i load up the truck with bodyboards, surfboards, masks, snorkels, nets, buckets, and water. i take them to a secret beach and they play all day long. this lucky little girl snorkeled for shells and found these 2 beautiful sea urchins. cool!
another one of the kids scooped up this baby lion fish. i explained to them that these fish have poison in it and can hurt you really bad. so i told them to put it back into the ocean.
want to thank Yuko-chan for this cuttlefish. my favorite with a cold beer.
makes your breath and hands stinky but it’s so good.
happy to see the cherry blossoms in shikoku. this is where i stay when i’m in shikoku and if you’ve ever been there, you know how beautiful it is! thank you Tomoko-san and see you all very soon.
