good evening. what a long day! first, i want to say that everyday is a learning experience for me. i learned so much in the last 2 days. just to be a part of such a huge event made us grow as a business, and grow as a person. i met so many cool people at this event, friends from a long time ago, friends from the present, and friends that are going to be in my future. yes, it was a hula event but surfing was in the air. i’m looking forward to the future, i’m looking forward to surfing, and i’m looking forward to having a better relationship with all my friends in japan. second, it was the first hawaii event i’ve ever went to in japan. the aloha spirit was everywhere! i was so happy to see so many people that love hawaii, and i was so happy to be from hawaii. my goal is to make japanese people even happier when they visit hawaii. it made me proud to have been raised on a tiny island in the middle of the ocean that the whole world loves. and last, i want to thank everybody for coming out to see me. to the family that caught an airplane from okayama, from the couple that drove 5 hours from aichi, to all the other people that came from all over japan. today was probably a record low for temperature but warm in hearts. thank you all again and hope to see you all soon in hawaii!
and to my wonderful team. Saito-san, Kanae-san, Ryosuke, Hikaru, Eri-chan, Takami-san, Naoka, Toda-san, Alyssa, and everybody else involved in this project: you all did a great job! i was so happy to see this team working so hard together. we surely made a lot of people happy today, which is our main goal in life. the more happier people in the world, the better world we will live in. keep on working hard, keep on smiling, and most of all, KEEP ON SURFING! thank you all!! mahalo.
