the other night Ryosuke and i were in Hiro, we were walking around looking for a good place to eat. then at the same exact moment, 2 of our friends recommended this chanko nabe restaurant. so we walked in, sat down, and had an awesome dinner. lucky!

my friend Brandon has all these ideas. and when he sets his mind to it, he moves forward pretty quickly. he bought a trailer, he bought wood, then he’s building a party house on wheels. a big room, tv, internet, stove, refrigerator, toilet, bed, bbq, and more. all i have to do is hook it up to my truck and we can have a floating hotel on wheels! super cool and i can’t wait till it’s done!

and last, after 23 years of going to japan, i still am amazed by the culture. the question is: “how are you supposed to decide what to drink?” this guy looks just as confused as i always do. haha.
