good morning. it’s 6:30 and the waves look small but really fun. i only see 3 guys out at bowls? and only 10 or so at ala moana park? where is everybody? i just seen such a clean wave come in. there must have been 100 surfers in the water yesterday morning and the waves were smaller. oh well, great for me! i’m going surfing!!! have a nice day!!!!!
had a great dinner with good friends last night. secret korean restaurant in seoul, hawaii. haha…. kamsamida….

DUKE KAHANAMOKU 1890-1968.
yesterday toda-san, takami-san, and i spent a day on my boat. we went all the way from the ala wai, to the airport, to waikiki, and back to the ala wai. toda-san drove the whole way so i was pretty happy. we stopped on the way to some of my dive spots and it was nice to see a lot of fish waiting for me. my guns are working, my new wetsuit is amazing(more about it coming soon), and that few hours underwater cleared all the bad things on my mind. diving is my medicine. without it, i’d be in jail….

**ever since kelia started surfing, i’ve been trying to help her. i always tell her to “bend your knees and don’t fall.” if she just listens, she will surf 10x better. the other day at kewalo’s, she came in and i told her the same thing, “bend your knees and don’t fall.” she went back out on her longboard and did the most beautiful power round house cutback i’ve ever seen. kelia’s pretty much getting focused on the upcoming roxy jam in france that will determine who the next world champion is. if she just “bends her knees and don’t fall, she will win.” maybe i should go with her and yell it every 5 seconds from the beach? haha.. people in france will think i’m crazy… but you know what? i am crazy.. haha…
i’m also teaching kelia how to model. if i were a girl, this would be a cover shot. haha…
kelia was fooling around with my camera. she’s been doing her blog every day recently and just needs things to talk about. so i have her my peace sign[:?????$B!x(B???:] to talk about.
