good morning. 6 am and the waves are looking small again. small, but fun. had such a fun time surfing yesterday. my short board is working really good, maybe that’s the reason. guess what’s coming? strong winds!!! yeah, the winds are going to get super strong from tomorrow all the way until the weekend. got a bbq coming up tonight that i’m really looking forward too. steak, fish, and fun!!! have a nice day!!!

**whether it’s big pipeline, medium mentawai, or small town, surfing is pretty much the same for me. it’s all fun!! every time i surf, i try to make the best of it. yeah, i’d rather be getting barreled somewhere, but at the same time, i like paddling out with a few friends and surfing knee high waves. yesterday was just one of those days where you call up some friends in the morning, plan what time to meet at the beach, and just have fun. i took my video camera along with me to share the excitement. the only thing is that i’m too tired to download all the clips right now. so i just took one off to show you how fun it was yesterday…
you guys all know that i enjoy hawaii. now i want to introduce you to somebody else that enjoys hawaii just as much as i do. toda-san has been coming to hawaii for years but staying on the north shore. but a couple of years ago, that all changed. now he stays right in the heart of waikiki and says he’s much happier now. and by his big smile, don’t you agree. he just got his brand new stand up paddle board a few days ago which makes it even better….
