good morning. wow, i surfed like 5 hours yesterday! the waves were super fun. bowls in the morning and kewalo’s in the evening. had a great dinner with dr. sato and his brother. now it’s 5 am and i’m ready for another awesome day. going to pick up kelia to go surf do some fun stuff. stay tuned….
i was truly amazed on how many people swim here in hawaii. i was totally clueless. but now i know, i’m going to practice more because swimming is really good for your health. if you seen all the swimmers that day, you would know. everybody was fit and looked so energetic. there were people ranging from 15 to 65 and they all looked so healthy and focused. i was probably the only one that drank alcohol the night before, but i’ll never do that again. it was really inspiring. i want to live a long healthy life so swimming has to be part of it. and if swim competitions are the way to motivate me, so let it be….
a few days after the race, the swim club sent me a link to the photos taken that day. i was so happy to see my photos in there. it was a great experience for me and when i saw the photos, it made me relive that day. i remember crossing the finish line a lot better now. at that time, i was so tired so it was such a blur, but now, nothings blurred. looking at this, i feel like i crossed the finish line again, and again, and again….. i want to thank the kailua swim club for a great experience. see you again next year…
**you know something? now i feel really proud to be part of go-naminori.com. this is the kind of things we do. we go out and take photos of normal people and post them on the site. that way, they can relive their surfing experience the same way i relived my swimming experience. i was so happy to get these photos and i’m sure a lot of surfers are happy to get their photos from websites. ever since i started shooting, my goal was to capture the best photos of your everyday surfers. i’ve been doing that for 4 years and now i’m going to try harder to make more and more people happy. i know the feeling and want everybody to feel the same way. so if you see me in the water with my camera, surf, smile, and check WWW.GO-NAMINORI.COM. you might be on there! or you might be on the evening news too. thanks guy hagi and HAWAII NEWS NOW for running my shots…
