good morning. still no waves here in japan. i’m packing my bags and heading back to hawaii. shun will be coming so i better get back. i’ll be surfing with him a lot, that’s for sure. have a nice day!!!
i’ve been getting a lot of emails in japan about the GOETHE magazine that just came out. i was looking for it the past few days and every bookstore i went too sold out of the magazine. then yesterday, i finally found the last copy sitting on the magazine rack. lucky!! when i looked at the cover, this guy looked so familiar. who is he? where did i see him before? i was confused….
OHHHH!! that’s number 27!!! i mean, that’s famous baseball player furuta-san. oh my gosh! he really is famous…. no i feel even more stupid….
the whole magazine is pretty much about hawaii and naoyuki honda. the things he does, the places he goes, and the people he knows. i’m pretty lucky to be in this magazine. we had a great surf/photo session that day. the waves that day weren’t the greatest, but when your surfing with friends, it doesn’t matter. i think we all had a great time.
if you didn’t pick up this magazine, you should. i highly recommend it because nao-san knows hawaii very well. there are some places in there that i didn’t know even existed. i even seen some friends in there, like clark little, and miwa narita. beautiful photos, great information, and a lot of happy looking people. i guess hawaii can bring out the happiness in anyboydy….. thanks nao-san for calling me up to surf that day. i had a blast!!!
**and last, check out this quote from Robert Schuller that i truly believe in. please read it over and over….
“TOUGH TIMES NEVER LAST, TOUGH PEOPLE DO”
