good morning. 6:30 am monday morning. the waves on the south shore is looking good! chest high and really clean. it’s not as crowded as yesterday. even north shore has some small waves!! laniakea looks super fun fun. i’m surfing all day today!!! see you in the water!

when i came home late on saturday night, i went straight to my computer to watch kelia’s heat. only the scores are live so i was so nervous waiting for the computer to upload the new scores. kelia was winning until the end of the heat, then the other girl got a good score and won. shit!! i was so bummed that kelia lost. i couldn’t sleep after that. i kept on thinking how bummed out she must be. but making the quarter finals in such a big event like that is still good. and to be the roxy poster girl in france is good too. i’m proud of her no matter what! good job kelia…
and hey kelia, make sure you bring me back a couple of those posters so i can put it in my portfolio. do you think it will fit in your board bag? haha…
