good morning. 6 am. it’s early in the morning but i’m going to wake up shun and we’re going surfing. meeting the other groms at bowls so expect a lot of kids out there this morning. at least 10 kids are with me so if you don’t like kids, stay away. waves are small anyway…. haha.. have a nice day!
every body has been asking me when kelia comes home. well, it’s today! yeah, she left france 3 days ago and that’s how long it takes to get back to hawaii. she’ll be jetlagged for sure…
in some countries you need an international drivers license to drive a car. i’m not sure what the laws are where ever i go but i’d rather be safe than sorry. for example, if you get pulled over in bali for doing absolutely nothing, you have to pay a fine of about $30. if you get pulled over in bali doing absolutely nothing and don’t have an international drivers license, expect to pay double. in hawaii, you don’t need one. i keep on telling my japanese friends that they don’t need one in hawaii but they still get one anyway. in japan, you need one. i got mine yesterday so i’m ready to drive in any country. so stay out of my way!!!
shun and alyssa were over at my house last night for dinner. we had fun eating sukiyaki and playing games. i don’t think shun is use to girls hugging him but if he becomes one of japan’s top pro surfers, he better get use to it… haha…
this is my friend robert howard who’s a kaiser’s local. we used to surf contest together over 20 years ago and i’m stoked to see him still ripping!!!
