good morning, it’s 5 am. i’ve been sick for the past 2 weeks but finally feel good this morning. i’m supposed to go to japan today but after i bumped into mito-chan yesterday morning at bowls, she told me about something. something i forgot and something i didn’t train for. but after getting a prep talk like a coach to a student, i said “hai” which means “yes.” gosh, mito-chan sure has a great way of motivating people….
i’m going to the north shore open water swim race now. i haven’t touched my goggles and swim cap since the last race in kailua. in fact, i haven’t even swam since then. i’m not going to race against time this time. i’m going to race against myself to just make it to the finish line. if i don’t finish, i ain’t coming home… so this might be the last blog you will ever see… wish me luck….
i was riding my skateboard through waikiki the other day. haven’t done that since i was in high school…. i felt like an old kid….
you see different things in waikiki when you skateboard as to driving in a car. you get to see the other side. it’s pretty cool…
i rode up to the waikiki wall. gosh, i wish i had my shorts. i wanted to jump off the wall just like i use to as a kid…. do they still allow you to jump off the wall? i see “no jumping” signs. but i’m pretty sure they were there before too. we just didn’t care….
then i stopped by butigoove and hilife on piikoi. kyle, bj, and romi took care of me. they donated some cool prizes for our party!!! i have lots to say about HiLIFE in an upcoming blog, but for now, remember the name. this company is on the verge of blowing up!!! i couldn’t believe how many local customers walked in and bought stuff while i was there. in 2 years, there will be a line out the door. i guarantee that….
