good evening. woke up with my body hurting but instead of crying all day, i went to the gym and hurt it more. now i feel good. and tomorrow it will be twice the pain. but no pain, no gain. good news!!!

hey, kelia made her debut in fine magazine! for those of you who don’t know, fine magazine is the biggest teen surf/fashion magazines in japan. millions of people read it so kelia is now on the fine map. this is the first and i’m sure it’s not the last. gordino-san asked me to send him a photo so i sent him this one. i’m so stoked they used it for opening page. this is kelia moniz doing what she does best….
can you believe they used a photo of me surfing too? there is a little photo on a not so little wave at backdoor. i think it’s the first time ever the media introduced me as kelia’s uncle. until now, a lot of people thought i was lying. they were probably thinking “how can kirby be kelia’s uncle? kirby is way cuter!!” haha…
anyway, fine magazine is out on the stands in japan now. go get your copy!! and can somebody please get me one before it sells out….
**by the way, some websites, including ROXY, and some magazines all over the world printed a mistake saying kelia is 20 years old. that was wrong. KELIA IS 17 YEARS OLD!!! and some websites and magazines around the world print a mistake saying i’m over 40 years old. that is wrong. I AM 28 YEARS OLD!!! and i’ve been that age for many many years. haha…
what have i been doing for the past 3 days? i’m in the middle of helping kelia with her portfolio, making my photographer portfolio, and making a slide show for the party on august 14th. i have over 100,000 photos just in my iphoto, not including thousands more on my external hard drive. i’ve been going through them day and night and come across photos that i didn’t know even existed. check this one of maki yamamoto at kaisers. pretty cool with waikiki in the background… well, i better get back to work… have a great evening….
**and last, don’t forget the party on august 14th. i just found out that the asp jr. pro and saiko cup will be in shonan that day. isaiah moniz will probably fly up for that too. the party should be nuts!!! hope to see you all there!! flyer should be out in a couple of days….
