Fujiki-san and I scored such perfect waves yesterday morning at Bowls. it was a saturday but nobody was out. perfect rights and lefts all morning long. then it got crowded but it was time for us to go in anyway. perfect timing and perfect score!
thank you Fujiki-san for the fun surf session and sweet japanese jelly!
then i went over the mountain in the afternoon to the east side. i felt like i was in molokai again. so beautiful!
it was my friend Holli’s kids graduation party. Braxton is now a man who will further his education on the mainland. good luck Brax. make mom proud!
this is a little poke sampler plate. i ate 3 of these along with 4 beers. i was feeling pretty happy after.
and the hawaiian food was excellent! i went on a diet for 2 days after i came back from the all you can eat trip in molokai. i lost 5lbs. but gained it all back last night. it’s ok because it was so good!
Holli is a very important person in my life. she has always been there for me since i was 12 years old. some of the things she’s done for me has changed my life in a good way and has made me the person i am today. she raised me right, and she raised her kids right too. i am very fortunate to have such an amazing person in my life. Holli, I am very proud of you! You raised your kids perfectly! They have the upmost respect for everybody around them. They are 2 fine young men that will make a difference in this world. You have always been my 2nd Mother to me, but most importantly, my best friend who I could always count on. Not that your 2 boys will be living on the mainland, give me a call and let’s relive our younger days. I’ll go buy a VW Squareback, a 6 pack of Micky’s, a few bottles of Tickled Pink wine, bring my BBQ grill, and let’s hang out at Sandy Beach. Cheers girl!
