omg, i had such a fun time with 2 cool surfer girls this morning. we surfed and laughed so much. just watching them smile after every wave is so rewarding for me. i know what it feels like and i’m still enjoying every single wave i ride.
this afternoon was so busy for me. i dropped off the girls at 1pm, then went home and to grab my backpack. got stuck in heavy traffic all the way to the airport. i park the harley, run to the terminal, and see hundreds of people on standby. i wait, i wait, and i wait. everybody boards the airplane and there are still 30 of us waiting. some people disappointed, some angry, and some very sad. me? i know that everything happens for a reason and there was a reason i didn’t get on that flight. i’m totally ok with that.
i walk back out of the airport and luckily i live 20 minutes away. some people actually have to sleep there and wait for the next flights. so i jump back on the harley, start heading home, and i see the darkest cloud coming straight for me. i try to beat it but it beats me. heavy rain comes down as the rain is stinging my face. i try to make it home but it was raining so hard i couldn’t even see. so i pull over into a garage and wait till it stops. i was there for an hour just soaked from head to toe. i didn’t care about my body and clothes, i was worried about my camera and computer.
bishobisho in japanese means “soaking wet.” i was dirty, cold, stink, and lonely. all i needed was a towel and a hug.
my pants were soaking wet too from the rain splashing off the front tire of the bike. it was so dirty!
how do i kill the pain? i eat good food! so i pull up to a new sushi restaurant down my street and order what ever my heart desired. hamachi and maguro please.
crab and scallops please. now i was a happy man. gosh, i’m so easy to make happy! and i didn’t even drink a beer because i forgot. haha.
hey, tomorrow is the super moon day! the biggest and brightest moon of the year. don’t miss it! hopefully i’ll be able to see it from the airplane!
and yeah, the lowest and highest tide of the year too. be careful!
well, today was today. a perfect morning, but a not so perfect afternoon. tomorrow is tomorrow. i’ll be down at honolulu airport trying to jump on a plane anywhere out of hawaii. what ever happens happens. if i get out, i get out. if i don’t, i can’t complain because i’m stuck here waiting in paradise.
good night!
