ok, try again. hopefully about 30 people don’t show up for their flight so i can get on one. people think i’m very lucky to be able to just go places on the spur of the moment. but i have to say that it’s not as easy as you think. there is a system you have to figure out, routes, time schedules, time differences, connecting flights, baggage, and a whole lot more. backpacking is what i do best and if one way doesn’t work out, i just go the other way. central america isn’t the only place that’s expecting a big swell, there is another huge low pressure in the indian ocean that will send some huge swells all over that region. now my eyes are turned, and i’m focused on going the other way. and if that doesn’t work out, i’m going to molokai! either way, i win!
backpacking the philippines was super fun. i love filipino food and love to try different things. this was definitely different.
ever eat tilapia before? it was pretty dam good!
crispy crablets? i almost choked on the shell.
now moving to japan. a mango goes for $63 in some department stores. and a water mellon just sold for $3,000. i had about 30 mangos in the car. eating some, and giving some away. now their all gone. kind of sad. i better look for another friends mango tree.
Kaoru-san and Mai-san are 2 intelligent women. both japanese speaking 100% perfect english. not surfer kind, perfect kind. gosh we had fun.
wanted to say hello to Hikaru and Eri-chan. another 2 intelligent women hanging out in bali last weekend. hey? why didn’t you guys invite me? i think we should start planning another surf trip?
