good morning. another long day awaits me. my body is slowing down in this wild heat but my mind is going strong. typhoon right off the coast so going on a surf trip right now!!! see you somewhere in japan!!!
i’m pretty stoked to see isaiah making news in japan. here’s a little air he pulled off in the contest last week. if the waves were a little bigger, he would have been flying higher. i see this kid pull these off all the time back in hawaii. this weekend he’s surfing the junior pro on shonan. he entered only the under 20 division in chiba but will be surfing the under 16 division too in shonan, where he is supposed to be. if the waves are overhead, i’m putting my money on isaiah…. great photo yamamoto-san!! doomo desu…
i’m glad to see kelia doing her blog. i think she finally realizes that a lot of people wake up and check it. if she posts a blog, their happy, if not, they keep on checking back and back and it could get discouraging at times. by coming to japan, i think she learned a lot. she learned that a lot of little girls want to live the life she is. and if she doesn’t show it, they won’t know it. kelia, please do your blog everyday! and great job in the b/w effect. it makes me look better. haha….
from the day isaiah arrived, he’s been hearing “hey, i seen you on you sisters blog. hey, i seen you on your uncles blog. hey, aren’t you kelia’s brother? hey, aren’t you seth’s brother?” i think isaiah had enough. in the car the other day, isaiah asks me “uncle, i want to do my own blog on go-naminori. i know i can get more access than kelia.” tammy tells me that isaiah is a great writer and i was always waiting for the day he starts his blog. and that time is coming soon. stay tuned…
meet midori-san. midori-san makes jewelry in japan and has a company called LILIHA. i met her in hawaii about 4 years at diamond head. we talked a little back then and now, it’s so cool to have so many mutual friends. she short boards and has many dreams. just by talking to her, you can feel such a good positive energy. midori-san came by our hotel to drop off some pretty amazing hand made jewelry for kelia. i haven’t seen kelia so happy in a long time. thank you midori-san….
