The 10 worst charities

well, if you surfed yesterday, you scored. it was the last day of light trade winds, it was uncrowded, and the waves were pretty dam good. nobody predicted the swell so we were lucky. i surfed 3 rounds and am pretty satisfied. last night, the weatherman finally reported the south swell, kind of late, but better than nothing. then he said it will be 3-5′ today. Wrong! the freak 1 day swell already came down so no 5′ sets for sure. be lucky to get a chest high wave today. see you in the water!
AirAsiaA320
read an article in japan about people complaining on the lack of service on these low cost airlines. all i have to say is “you get what you pay for.” you can’t expect top quality service for cheap tickets on cheap airlines. if you want good service, go to HIS and ride a real airplane. i ride air asia sometimes and when i get to my destination, my back hurts and i’m hungry. that’s life!
th-1
when japan gets hot, japan gets hot. i can’t even explain how hot and humid the summers get there. in the first week of july, 3 people died, and 2,600 people were taken to the hospital due to heat stroke. 35 degrees celsius or 95 degrees fahrenheit. OMG!
radiation spread 2
radioactive tritium is the highest ever since march 2011. it’s continuing to rise in seawater right off the plant in fukushima. that’s pretty sad as i know people are surfing around there. and the other day TEPCO planned to restart other nuclear plants? wouldn’t it be the smart to fix one problem before you start another? somethings wrong.
CHILD
here’s a list of the 10 charities that were just investigated. see the percentage on the right? that’s the percentage of money going to directly to the victims. so if you donate $100 to the kids wish network, $2.50 will go to the kids. the other $97.50 goes to the CEO, the staff, luxury cars, good food, and a lot of vacation time. so my advise is to know who you donate too, and choose wisely.
Kids Wish Network (2.5%)
Cancer Fund of America (0.9%)
Children’s Wish Foundation International (10.8%)
American Breast Cancer Foundation (5.3%)
Firefighters Charitable Foundation (8.4%)
Breast Cancer Relief Foundation (2.2%)
International Union of Police Associations (0.5%)
National Veterans Service Fund (7.8%)
American Association of State Troopers (8.6%)
Children’s Cancer Fund of America (5.3%)
