good evening. last night i had a bad dream. we were driving home from chiba to shonan. the way back is pretty simple. just follow the bayside road all the way home. i dozed off in the back seat[][] i opened my eyes and seen unfamiliar signs. i ask the driver. hey, is everything ok? the driver replies, yes, no problem… i doze off to sleep again[][] the car stopped moving so i opened my eyes again. i ask the driver, hey, is everything ok? the driver doesn’t answer back. i look good and all i see is tall buildings and neon lights. WHAT!!!! we’re stuck in heavy traffic in the middle of tokyo???? shibuya to be exact…. i doze back to sleep because i didn’t want to think about it….
come to find out, that wasn’t a dream. yes, 2 japanese nationals in the front seat that can’t read signs? i was thinking to myself if i didn’t wake up, where would i be now? in hokkaido? in miyazaki? what a nightmare…. haha…..
i have tons of photos on my iphone and desktop that i better post before i forget what the heck it is… i’ll start with this one. this is a huge teishoku we ate in chiba. 990 yen or $10 and your stuffed for 3 days. i ate so much katsuo tataki that made me smell like a dead fish for days. but it was good….
up in ichinomiya, the fog was crazy. can’t see much ahead when driving. and can’t even see the beach when surfing. it was kind of weird. it felt like the world was going to end…. i’m use to blue sky and rainbows… kowakatta….
hayato pulled up to meet us with a drink on the roof. i took this photo because i wanted to make a joke out of it. come to find out, the joke was on me. he put it there on purpose… haha…
chiba is smaller than i thought. eri, naoka, and i left jasmins house heading to hebara. jasmin left later as she told me she was taking her brother to a secret beach. we end up bumping into each other at the 7/11 down there. small world…. by the way, jasmin’s brothers name is damien. when i met him for the first time, i thought i was looking at a shaven head jasmin. gosh, they look so alike. and act alike too. well, damien is a little more mellow….
when ever i go to chiba, i don’t want to eat out. why? because jasmin can freaking cook!! she asks me what we want to eat, and she delivers a fine meal on the dinner table. can you beat that? nope…. thanks jasmin for taking care of the go-naminori team….
i want to thank 4 people.
1. thank you eri for helping me vacuum the car.
2. thank you naoka for helping me clean the car.
3. thank you jasmin for getting me the car.
4. and last, thank you Yo-chan for being so generous in letting us borrow your awesome go-naminori mobile. thanks for the aloha style. we all here at go-naminori really appreciate your kindness…
