did you know the other day was the first time i ever seen a rainbow in shikoku? after all these years in shikoku, i finally seen something that made me feel close to home. a nice colorful rainbow….
i wanted to say haisai to all the boys there at hard reef in okinawa. i miss you guys. hope to see you soon. just keep the habusake away from me. i think i’ve been there too many times to have a welcome drink. have a nice day… or should i say, ha bu a sa ke…….
in 1 month, i’ll be back to where i always wanted to go again. sailing on a huge boat throughout east indonesia. timor to be exact. we’re focusing on this same secret spot and if it’s half as good as we got it last time, we’re going to score. kyle and i were exchanging waves in the morning. it might look like i’m taking off on the shoulder but don’t let this photo fool you. once you bottom turn, the ocean bends towards you and the tube runs along the reef like a F1 race track. think HT’s is good? this wave is thicker, longer, and a lot more dangerous. i can’t wait…..
and last, we were so lucky to have a yoga teacher on our last trip. mari-chan just got her license in hawaii so we all took advantage of it. driving thru japan, we did yoga in the most magical places you can ever think of. this is just one of them. namaste! thank you mari-chan for your great teachings…
