i want to welcome back Poi-man to hawaii. Takabayashi-san is a super cool surfer from chiba. surfs really good and knows how to live the hawaiian lifestyle. we surf and caught so many good waves this morning. i was stoked to see him surfing much better than the last time. he seems more confident and i can see it in his paddling and surfing. great improvement! after surf, of course we went to yama’s to have our hawaiian plate with POI! we set up at the park, and ate lunch in peace. thanks for the fun morning Poi-man! see you on saturday and i can’t wait to take your son surfing for the first time. he will love it!

want to thank Brent for sending me these photos from yesterday evening. see that guy in the front? his name is Frank and when i first met him the other week, i looked at him and said “hey, i know you from somewhere.” come to find out, Frank surfs bowls rights all the time on a big longboard. i remember him taking off, turning right, and running a few of my friends over. haha.
yes, i’m in a total different world with this crew. doctors, professors, researchers, photographers, and more very intelligent people. i hope their smart power rubs off on me because i want to learn more about everything in this world!

well, another long day. great morning surfing. then had an argument on the phone with a salesman from Porsche. i’ll get to that later. then lost my fisheye lens somewhere so i went looking for it. no luck finding it. met Crystal to check out her amazing sunrise jewelry. then was going to take a nap again because i was so tired but decided instead to hit the highway with the harley. once i hit 100mph, i woke up! a very great feeling! have a great evening!
