another beautiful summer day here in hawaii. i woke up, loaded the truck with boards, then seen the most beautiful double rainbow! it was so close i felt like i could have touched it. up at my house rains every single day. so if you want a clean car, forget it. i washed the truck yesterday and today it looked like somebody threw up on it. yeah it’s dirty again, but i can’t complain driving through rainbows every morning heading to my office right?
had a great time surfing this morning with the Doi-san family from Nara, Japan. first time surfers and like i always say, “it’s never too late to start surfing!” Doi-san did a great job and when i saw him stand up for the first time, i could tell he was happy! he told me it felt so good! then daughter Misaki-san kept surfing, surfing, and surfing. she got better after every wave and right before we went in, i asked her “do you want to catch a big one?” she said “yes!” so we went to the outside, i got her into 3 big waves! she rode them all the way in, she was happy, and so was i. what a great feeling to see surfing bring out the big smiles today! then we headed to Da Spot for curry and smoothies. what a wonderful day meeting this wonderful family!
rent a baby? my new grand nephew lives next door to me so when i feel like having a baby, i can have one. haha. i play and look into his eyes. so pure, so natural, and so cute. then when he starts crying, i take him home. haha.
my brother sent me this photo of the happy kids in cambodia. he said the kids want to thank each and every one of you who supported their cause. aloha from cambodia!
