on one of the good days of surf, we went to the fish market and bought a tuna. then Mocha and Manuel cut it into filets and we made a meal for 10 out of it. the cool thing is we pulled over on this island and borrowed the island caretakers kitchen.
then Caloy was getting the fire ready for our bbq.
things in the philippines is so simple and efficient. it makes me super excited about living off the water and land someday. i’m still learning and when i experience things like this, i learn really fast.
what an awesome lunch. healthy and delicious!
Scott and Mason on the boat. Scott is a true explorer of the philippines. he knows everything you can imagine. i ask a question, i get a solid answer. he’s my google.com. haha. and Mason was just culture shock the whole way. the thing that freaked him out was when we were driving trough villages and seeing kids as young as 2 years old playing along the side of the street. we were on the road for over 20 hours and seen some cool things. a great experience for the 3 of us.
a hammock on a private island beach loaded with shells. this is a total stress free lifestyle!
but hey, i’m glad to be back home to my own lifestyle. just as long as i have the ocean, i can live anywhere in the world. my next trip will probably be late november so i’m going to work as hard as possible until then. i just got back but i’m looking forward to exploring the world again!
