this was bowls yesterday. yuck! today is looking a little cleaner and hopefully the canal is flowing straight out today. all it takes is the right current and the water can be crystal clear in one day. i’m hoping that day is today. going to check now.
i used Matsuda-san’s iphone yesterday to take these photos. super clear and super convenient. and after i saw this photo i took, i ordered my iphone water housing last night when i got home. i will use it to take photos, but don’t you dare call me. haha. gosh, look how clean the water was yesterday. unbelievable it’s on the same island.
the only junk thing about the iphone water housing is if you get a tiny drop of water on the lens, it will go out of focus. sorry Hiroshi-san.
we’ve been eating at the best korean yakiniku restaurant in hawaii. the name of the restaurant is so hard to pronounce that i won’t even try it now.
after this, the meat came out and my two hands were busy eating top quality meat and sipping on unbelievable red wine. so no more photos.
the winter weather continues. from now, it will get tricky to get the right surf spot at the right time. winds, weather, currents, tides, and everything will come into play. for today, i know where i’m going. see you in the water!
